Building Mass By Increasing Weight But Not Calories

Question: Building mass by increasing weight but not calories...

I was wondering if it is still possible to gain mass by increasing weight weekly and not increasing calories.

I feel that if weight is increased every week in all exercises, regardless of calories or not (Obviously it would be recommended, suggested, advised that an increase in calories along with increase in weight will yield maximum results), you would still build size simply because you are able to push through that extra weight. Would this be true?

Also, what would the best stack to take post workout in bulking phase? Would it be dextrose with whey protein or creatine with whey protein?

Well first we have to assume that you would be 'able' to increase weight weekly... this isn't always possible. There will be some limitations. You may be able to add weight every week at first, but at some point the body would plateau because the body would eventually know what to expect, and then resist to the increase of weight.

Regardless if creating a calorie surplus or not, the body adapts, and will eventually refuse the workload once it becomes familiar to it. This is why increasing weight is only 'one option' out of 'several options' for increasing workout intensity.

If you were somehow able to continue lifting more weight each week, yes, we could assume you are increasing muscle.

Dextrose with whey? No.

Creatine with whey? Yes, but add some fruit too.
